After a celebrated career of over 25 years as a cosmetics entrepreneur, Emanuel now dedicates his time, single-mindedly, to giving back in the form of counselling, coaching and educating.
His innovative and inspiring approach to all three of these overlapping sectors has infused him with profound purpose, passion and expertise.
Emanuel is a widely-read individual. Warm and affable, friends – and even acquaintances – have been known to refer to him as ‘a renaissance man’, ‘a figure of a bygone era’, ‘a poet with a love of humour’ and ‘an unabashedly hopeful romantic’. He’s also not ashamed to openly talk about his ‘shadow-side’, candidly admitting that it’s contrarian, an instigator, rabble rouser, the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons.
My Story
Emanuel Perdis served as the Co-founder and Managing Director of the Australian-owned company Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics for over 25 years.

During his tenure, the $110M + company boasted over 100 Concept Stores as well as 120 Napoleon Perdis Department Stores counters throughout Australia, NZ and North America, complemented by over 1150 salon and pharmacy stockists of the brand throughout the Pacific. Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy was the largest Makeup College in Australia and a CRICOS accredited RTO.

Within the business, Emanuel ran the operation’s day-to-day activities; Sales teams, HR, Education Academy and Operations. These varied groups reported directly to him on a daily basis whilst Napoleon and his other business partner were overseas focusing their efforts on International USA Expansion, PR, Marketing and Product Development.

With boots-on-the-ground leadership, Emanuel garnered invaluable experience in relationship management, conflict resolution, mediation, career counselling, education, mental health management and many other areas that required exceptional social-interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
​
Beyond being an instrumental figure involved from the outset in starting and growing the global Napoleon Perdis make-up phenomenon, he is an inspiring, passionate and seasoned Counsellor, Coach, Educator, and Complementary Medicine Practitioner.

In arriving to this point, Emanuel has fiercely confronted his own setbacks, failures and flaws with vigorous and brutally honest reflection, introspection and a host of self-growth activities such as counselling, workshop attendance as well as completing his academic studies in applied psychology.

Staunchly conscious to always ‘walk the talk’, this inimitable commitment to his integrity and ongoing path has been a most important personal value guiding his journey through life.

In turn, his own journey has imbued him with exceptional empathy and understanding where he ‘gets’ what the clients on the figurative ‘therapy couch’ are dealing with and feeling. His unwavering will drives his energies and professional endeavours with clients and students respectively.
